Final round

Grandpa completed his final round of chemotherapy yesterday!! As of yesterday he was feeling okay....not great...but okay. He is really fatigued and has no appetite and will probably have a difficult next few days into the week ahead. We see the radiologist on Tuesday to see what he thinks the next step should be. So far the oncolgist has said that the neck tumor has definitely decreased in size - no way to tell how the chemo has affected the tonsil or lung areas. We still have a lot of unanswered questions - only time will tell how the chemo has been beneficial and in what areas. I snapped a shot of him while he was getting his big dose of chemo on Monday - he continues to amaze the nurse with his mild reactions to the therapy. Uncle Eric hopes to make another trip this way in the next couple of weeks - if we can plan a get together, we most definitely will! Stay tuned.....I'll update when we get information from the radiologist.
